Process design:
Advanced manufacturers generally adopt computer simulation technology, computer-aided process design and virtual technology of hot working, which improves the level of process design and product manufacturing capability. Introduce and apply simulation programs such as DATAFOR, GEMARC/AUTOFORGE, DEFORM, LARSTRAN/SHAPE and THERMOCAL to realize computer design and hot working process control.
Forging technology:
Most hydraulic presses above 40MN are equipped with 100-400t.m main forging manipulators and 20-40t.m auxiliary manipulators. A considerable number of manipulators are controlled by computer, which realizes the comprehensive control of forging process, so that the forging precision can be controlled at ±3 mm, and the online measurement of forgings adopts laser size measuring device.
Heat treatment technology:
The emphasis is on improving product quality, improving heat treatment efficiency, saving energy and protecting environment. For example, adopt heating process of computer-controlled heating furnace and heat treatment furnace, control burner to achieve automatic adjustment of combustion, furnace temperature adjustment, automatic ignition and heating parameters management; apply the menthod of waste heat utilization, heat treatment furnace equipped with regenerative combustion chamber, etc.; use polymer-based quenching oil tank with low pollution and effective cooling control, gradually
replacing traditional quenching oil with various water-based quenching media, etc.
Machining technology:
The proportion of CNC machine tools in the industry has gradually increased, and some enterprises in the industry have machining centers, which are equipped with proprietary machining machines according to different types of products, such as five-coordinate machining centers, blade machining machines, roll mills, roll lathes, etc.
Quality assurance measures:
Some domestic enterprises have been equipped with the latest testing instruments and testing technologies, adopting various special modern automatic ultrasonic flaw detection systems with computer-controlled data processing to complete the certification of various quality systems. The key production technology of high-speed and heavy-duty gear forgings has been overcome continuously. Industrial production has been realized on this basis. By virtue of introducing foreign advanced production technology and key equipment, China has been able to design and manufacture its own production equipment for high-speed and heavy-duty gear forgings, which is close to the international advanced level.
